First time in 35yrs,it used to be our local.First impressions (we were only in for a drink)were met by a lovely lad (think his name was Michael ).who very quickly for me found me a suitable glass of white wine, given that I am very choosy. On leaving we were asked if we had enjoyed our short stay by a lovely lady who then showed us around. I was honest with her and explained that the only negative for us was the fact that given you have an open kitchen the young lad in whites stood out very poorly in that his jacket was not only in great need of an iron but looked dirty.I understand that people have different standards however someone could kindly explain to him that this doesn't look good and doesn't give a good business image.Alloa is in great need of somewhere as good as Coppers so I only want this to be taken as constructive and not any slight on the young chap.A local resident.

Fabulous meal, great service, but the chips weren't properly peeled. They called them "Artisan fries". Give those a wide berth, otherwise it was fabbydabbydoo!

Met with pals and had a great night. The food was delicious and the service was great. Will definately go again

Good menu. Food is delicious. Not much has changed regarding staff. Although the waiter who first took our order was cheerful we only saw him once. No one came to check if our meal was OK and we waited quite awhile again to be offered desert menu in fact we had to ask for it. Tables were left uncleared for longer than I felt was necessary. The restaurant wasn't that particularly busy. The staff don't seem to have a designated area to serve so we're all over the place or not seen at all. Still, as I said the food is good and no doubt we will return in the future. If I recommend this place it will be for the good menu and food but not to expect really good table service.

Went for early dinner service. Very relaxed. Loved the menu. Always happy when there are good vegetarian options for my mum. Didn't feel rushed. Friendly staff.
