One of the better Wetherspoons. Food is your basic pub-grub, but it's always been tasty and well-cooked when I've visited. Nice place to have a drink with friends as well. Good selection of beers, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Food and drink, like all Wetherspoons, is great value. Recommended.
One of the nicer Wetherspoons, very smart decor. Usual prices, and food. I ahve breakfast in here every other week, and find it enjoyable, but, why, oh, why must the fried egg yolk resemble a yellow ice hockey puck? Have sent it back numerous times, but, replacement is rarely any better. It is just laziness, on behalf of the cook, throw it in and forget it!! That is my only complaint, and so easy to rectify!
Nice Wetherspoons. Prices reasonable. Staff welcoming. They expect you to know how to empty the coffee grounds out the machine tho which not everyone knows. Just a typical Wetherspoons. Has a nice open log fire to sit around on cold days.
